Description

You will ensure the performance, scalability, and stability of applications and systems by identifying bottlenecks and optimizing performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance test plans, strategies, and workload models for web, API, and microservice applications.
• Conduct load testing using LoadRunner and JMeter, analyzing results to identify system constraints.
• Monitor application performance trends using ELK, AppDynamics, Grafana, and Kibana to ensure reliability.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to tune JVM internals, garbage collection, and database queries.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering and reliability engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with LoadRunner and JMeter for scripting and execution.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting and database performance monitoring.
• Experience with application performance monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Ganglia, Wily Introscope, or similar.
• Strong understanding of system architecture including web, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Ability to analyze logs and metrics using ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Grafana, and Kibana.
• Programming skills in Python and VBscript for automation and scripting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing Spring Boot or Java/J2EE microservices on cloud platforms.
• Foundational knowledge of JVM internals, thread management, and connection pooling.
