Description

You will design and execute automated performance testing pipelines for complex applications including Message Queue systems, SFTP, APIs, and Mainframes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate nonfunctional requirements from stakeholders and product teams into actionable test strategies.
• Build and maintain automated performance testing pipelines integrated with CI/CD for scalable applications.
• Identify, analyze, and optimize performance bottlenecks in distributed systems.
• Adopt AI-assisted development tools to streamline script creation and improve QA workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve latency, throughput, and concurrency issues.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in performance engineering and test automation.
• Advanced proficiency in Apache JMeter and hybrid Java automation test suites.
• Strong Java coding skills with solid software engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitHub Copilot.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming using Java, JavaScript, Python, or Groovy.
• Working knowledge of DB2, SQL, and query optimization techniques.
• Experience with APM and monitoring tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk.
• Solid understanding of HTTP/REST APIs, microservices, caching, queues, and database concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Mainframe application performance testing.
