Description

You will lead performance engineering efforts to ensure system scalability and stability.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and apply performance and scalability benchmarks.
• Characterize, debug, and improve system performance within cross-functional teams.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis using profiling tools.
• Plan and execute automated performance tests and analyze the resulting data.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews to own the quality perspective for complex solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on software performance engineering experience.
• Proficiency with LoadRunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, and Postman.
• Strong Python scripting and framework creation experience.
• Solid understanding of Java and JVM tuning techniques.
• Experience identifying and debugging virtual machine, memory, CPU, and thread issues.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SQL query performance tuning and relational/in-memory databases.
• Exposure to AWS, Kubernetes, and DevOps tools.
• Experience with application performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace or AppDynamics.
• Knowledge of Git for code management.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Solutions Architect or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer certifications.
• Experience with SAP BTP, S/4 HANA, or SCP iOS SDK mobile apps.
