Description

Define and drive the enterprise performance engineering strategy to ensure applications are scalable, resilient, and optimized for high availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead end-to-end performance testing solutions using LoadRunner and JMeter across distributed and microservices-based systems.
• Establish performance standards, governance, and best practices across multiple engineering teams.
• Leverage observability platforms such as Splunk, AppDynamics, and Grafana to analyze system behavior, detect anomalies, and troubleshoot bottlenecks.
• Partner with architecture, DevOps, and cloud engineering teams to design performance-optimized solutions in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Lead root cause analysis of production performance issues and recommend architectural improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering or testing.
• Proficiency with LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Experience with microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk, AppDynamics, and Grafana.
• Ability to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with Product Owners and executive leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing Chaos Engineering practices to validate system resilience.
• Background in capacity planning, workload modeling, and performance forecasting.
