Description

You will own the end-to-end performance testing lifecycle to identify system bottlenecks and ensure application scalability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive performance test plans, defining goals, scope, methodology, and success criteria.
• Generate and adapt test scripts for protocols including HTTP/HTML, Web Service, TruClient, Citrix, and MQ/JMS.
• Design and execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests to validate system requirements.
• Utilize monitoring tools and APM solutions to measure, analyze, and report on system performance.
• Document test results, conduct trend analysis, and facilitate triage meetings for collaborative troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in performance testing or software development in test.
• Proficiency with protocols such as HTTP/HTML, Web Service, TruClient, Citrix, and MQ/JMS.
• Experience using automation tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, K6, BlazeMeter, or Gatling.
• Hands-on experience with Windows IIS, MQ/JMS messaging, and SQL database environments.
• Ability to develop scripts using ODBC/JDBC and MQ/JMS messaging protocols for RAW SQL queries.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools such as SiteScope, DynaTrace, SumoLogic, or AppDynamics.
• Competency in log analysis for parameter extraction and performance assessment.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and automation frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Programming proficiency in Java, ANSI C, or Python for creating custom performance tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies.
