Description
Design and maintain end-to-end performance testing frameworks, including capacity planning, load simulation, and observability dashboards.
You will own the release pipeline for performance validation, utilizing JMeter for HTTP/HTML and Webservices protocols, alongside Rush Hour infrastructure. You will analyze root causes of performance issues using Dynatrace, JVisualVM, and JMC, and perform complete JVM analysis including memory, heap, and thread dump profiling.
You will design custom JMeter scripts for reactive APIs and implement chaos engineering concepts using dedicated tools. You will set up performance infrastructure in the cloud, leveraging Docker and Kubernetes, and automate processes with Shell, PERL, and UNIX scripting. You will apply intermediate Java and Python experience to support testing efforts.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute performance scripts for HTTP, HTML, and Webservices protocols.
- Analyze JVM metrics, memory leaks, and thread dumps to identify root causes.
- Set up and manage performance infrastructure in cloud environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement observability dashboards and chaos engineering practices.
- Automate testing workflows using Shell, PERL, and UNIX scripting.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in performance testing and analysis.
- Hands-on expertise with JMeter for custom script design.
- Proficiency in Java and Python for intermediate scripting and automation.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for infrastructure setup.
- Experience with Dynatrace, JVisualVM, and JMC for root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with Rush Hour performance testing infrastructure.
- Skills in memory, heap, and CPU profiling.
- Understanding of chaos engineering tools and concepts.
- Experience with Datadog for performance monitoring.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with reactive API performance testing.
