Description

Drive performance testing efforts within a web microservices architecture, owning the plan and execution of load tests across distributed systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute performance tests across distributed microservices.
• Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks and architectural constraints.
• Perform JVM performance tuning to optimize application stability.
• Monitor system health and metrics using observability tools.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in web microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with JMeter for load and performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with Java and JVM performance tuning.
• Experience managing workloads in AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools including Grafana, Prometheus, and InfluxDB.
• Experience using GitHub, SVN, JIRA, and X-Ray.
• Familiarity with AWS Timestream.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies.
