Description

You will own performance engineering activities within the agile lifecycle, ensuring the scalability and reliability of web applications and platform products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performance testing solutions to evaluate scalability and identify bottlenecks in the application code stack, hardware, and network.
• Develop automated tools and processes to simulate expected user workloads using industry-standard tools, integrating monitoring for real-time analysis.
• Execute performance tests, analyze results, and establish statistical models for response time, throughput, and network utilization.
• Participate in architectural reviews to voice performance concerns and define testing schedules aligned with the broader project roadmap.
• Collaborate with scrum teams to resolve performance impediments and drive root cause analysis for test failures and scalability issues.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in performance engineering and testing.
• Proficiency with LoadRunner and JMeter for test automation and simulation.
• Strong ability to analyze performance metrics and establish reliable statistical models.
• Experience identifying bottlenecks across hardware, software, and network layers.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and manage testing risks effectively.
• Proven track record of defining and shaping performance engineering strategies.
