Description

You will own the performance engineering lifecycle, ensuring scalability and reliability of web applications and platform-level services.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performance testing solutions to evaluate scalability of web apps and cloud deployments.
• Define testing schedules, effort estimation, and strategies within the agile development lifecycle.
• Identify bottlenecks in hardware, software, and network layers using monitoring tools.
• Analyze test results to establish statistical models for response time, throughput, and utilization.
• Participate in architectural reviews to voice performance concerns and drive improvements.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
• Proficiency with LoadRunner and JMeter for automated workload simulation.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments and platform-level applications.
• Strong understanding of performance metrics, statistical analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and manage testing risks.
• Experience in agile environments with a product-focused mindset.
• Strong communication skills for cross-geography collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience as a Product Owner or in similar technical leadership roles.
• Track record of defining and enacting process improvements for testing workflows.
