Description

You will design and execute testing and simulations, including penetration tests, technical controls assessments, cyber exercises, or resiliency simulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate controls for effectiveness and impact on operational risk, and identify opportunities to automate control evaluation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop assessment reports detailing findings, vulnerabilities, risk assessments, and remediation recommendations.
• Design and coordinate offensive security testing, assessments, or simulation exercises.
• Utilize threat intelligence and security research to track emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
• Conduct manual penetration tests against web, API, and mobile applications.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or resiliency.
• Demonstrated ability to identify systemic security or resiliency issues relating to threats or vulnerabilities.
• Proficiency in multiple security assessment methodologies and offensive testing tools.
• Experience testing web applications, internal/external infrastructures, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of US financial services sector cybersecurity or resiliency practices and risk management.
• Exceptional organizational skills for planning and coordinating complex testing exercises.
• Strong report writing and communication skills capable of engaging various stakeholders.
• Experience with Performance Testing.
