Description

You will develop and maintain scalable Perl-based software applications, data pipelines, and web services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance ETLs, web services, and interfaces for sourcing and transforming structured and unstructured data.
• Implement data parsing, standardization, and quality rules while optimizing pipelines for large data volumes.
• Write Class Based Views code and perform UI/UX design to deliver functional user interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure system stability and availability.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Product Management to define technical requirements and product roadmaps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Perl for web applications and data processing.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL Server, including complex queries, server maintenance, and replication.
• Competence with Linux systems.
• Strong understanding of code versioning using Git (GitHub) and SVN.
• Experience with Telecom Fault Management (FM), Performance Management (PM), and Device Discovery processes.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code using unit tests and integration tests.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, and front-end technologies.
• Understanding of event-driven programming in Perl and accessibility/security compliance.
