Description

You will modernize and reduce risks within the existing Perl ecosystem by designing, developing, and deploying software stack uplifts and decommissioning processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions to modernize the legacy Perl environment.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following established industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope.
• Conduct testing, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot complex software issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software engineering practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong programming proficiency in Perl and Python.
• Experience working with Unix operating systems and writing shell scripts.
• Practical knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience implementing certificates, encryption, and cyber security protocols.
• Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
