Description

You will develop and maintain scalable Perl applications and data pipelines to support evolving business requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance ETLs, web services, and interfaces for sourcing and transforming structured and unstructured data.
• Implement data parsing, standardization, and data quality rules within Perl-based systems.
• Write class-based views and perform UI/UX design to deliver functional user interfaces.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize data pipelines to handle large data volumes.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Product Management to define product roadmaps and system enhancements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Perl.
• Proficiency in Perl web applications and class-based coding.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and SQL Server, including complex queries, server maintenance, and replication.
• Competence working within Linux environments.
• Experience with Telecom Fault Management (FM), Performance Management (PM), and Device Discovery processes.
• Proficiency with version control tools including Git (GitHub) and SVN.
• Ability to write unit tests, integration tests, and deployment scripts.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with front-end technologies including JavaScript and HTML5.
• Understanding of accessibility, security compliance, and event-driven programming in Perl.
• Ability to design database schemas that support complex business processes.
