Description

You will develop and maintain backend logic and frontend components using Perl within a Kanban-driven environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend logic, middleware, and database interactions using Perl.
• Build and maintain frontend components using JavaScript and jQuery.
• Manage tickets and contribute to monthly release cycles using Kanban methodology.
• Execute smoke tests and resolve blockers to support the QA team.
• Demonstrate completed features to product teams and present implementations to other business verticals.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Perl programming.
• 3+ years of experience with object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency in backend coding, including business logic storage and middleware.
• Experience with data manipulation in Perl CGI programs.
• 2-3 years of experience working on Linux systems.
• 2-3 years of experience with MySQL databases.
• 2-3 years of experience using Apache web servers.
• Experience with frontend development using JavaScript and jQuery.
• Experience troubleshooting issues using web browser developer tools.
• Experience with GitHub version control.

Preferred Skills

• Background in Java or C++.
