Description

You will manage the safe and efficient transport of vaccines and medical items between healthcare providers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Transport vaccines and medical items following strict CDC storage and handling protocols.
• Map efficient routes to ensure punctual collection and delivery while considering traffic and mileage.
• Verify all documentation for accuracy and ensure recipients sign delivery receipts.
• Maintain secure storage of vaccines within the delivery vehicle and manage inventory of ancillary items.
• Log mileage and vehicle maintenance information in the company logbook.

Required Skills

• Pharmacy Technician certification, EMT certification, CNA, or LPN.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Current HIPAA training and knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Knowledge of CDC recommended vaccine shipping, handling, and storage guidelines.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and infection control.
• Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
• Strong routing, directional, and organizational skills.
• Experience working independently and managing schedules under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience in medical logistics or pharmacy operations.
