Description

You will lead architectural strategy and performance optimization for Yii-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Yii application architecture to diagnose bottlenecks and implement solutions for latency and server load management.
• Define and implement performance benchmarks and KPIs to meet technical standards.
• Conduct code reviews to enforce best practices for efficiency, maintainability, and security.
• Optimize SQL queries and database interactions to reduce resource usage and load times.
• Mentor junior developers and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of PHP development experience.
• Extensive expertise with Yii Framework (versions 1 and 2 preferred).
• Deep knowledge of performance optimization and architectural-level troubleshooting.
• Expertise in SQL databases including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience in query optimization and database performance enhancement.
• Proven ability to design scalable application architectures.
• Strong analytical skills for resolving complex performance issues.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in senior or architect-level leadership and mentorship roles.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with front-end performance optimization techniques.
