Description

You will develop and maintain backend services using PHP and modern architectural principles in a remote capacity.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, testable code following TDD and SOLID principles.
• Build and manage services using PHP frameworks like Laminas, Zend, or Symfony.
• Design and optimize relational and non-relational database schemas.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker.
• Integrate services with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience with PHP.
• Experience with Laminas, Zend, or Symfony frameworks.
• Proficiency with MySQL, Postgres, Mongo, or Dynamo.
• Experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Knowledge of OOP, SOLID, and TDD.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as CircleCI, Travis, GitHub Actions, or ADO.
• Experience with static analysis tools like PHPStan, Psalm, or PHPMD.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS services including ECS, EKS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and Event Bridge.
• Knowledge of Clean Architecture, DDD, Nginx, or Apache configuration.
• Experience with Python, Node.js, or TypeScript.
