Description

You will build and maintain web applications and APIs using modern PHP frameworks in a remote capacity.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing codebases to identify performance improvements and technical insights.
• Estimate project timelines based on interface wireframes and required functionality.
• Research emerging technologies to provide technical support to business and IT groups.
• Advise on system priorities and evaluate the impact of technical options on business processes.
• Manage personal task prioritization and communicate roadblocks to leadership.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years of experience in object-oriented and MVC software, web, and API development.
• Expertise in Symfony or Laravel frameworks.
• 3+ years of front-end development experience.
• 2+ years of experience with React and Redux.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and SCSS.
• Experience with service-oriented design principles.
• Mandatory proficiency in Git SCM command line and tools.
• Strong understanding of responsive design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React Hooks.
• Knowledge of PHP unit testing including PHPUnit or PHPSpec.
• Experience with Behat or JavaScript testing using Jest and react-testing-library.
