Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and enhancement of PHP-based applications.
• Gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Design and develop scalable application components using PHP and object-oriented programming.
• Coordinate development activities between onsite stakeholders and offshore teams.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Work with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, including schema design and SQL optimization.
• Develop and support Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot application issues.
• Coordinate unit testing, integration testing, deployments, and releases.
• Track development progress, identify technical risks, and communicate project status.
• Mentor junior developers and support technical knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on PHP and Object-Oriented Programming experience.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
• Strong SQL skills, including query tuning and performance optimization.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating external services.
• Working knowledge of Git, branching strategies, and release management.
• Experience with debugging, testing, and application deployments.
• Working knowledge of Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
• Knowledge of MVC architecture and software design patterns.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience mentoring developers or leading technical tasks.

Experience

• 4–8 years of PHP development experience.
• Experience collaborating with clients, business teams, and offshore development teams.
• Experience coordinating technical deliverables and development activities
