Description

Build and maintain backend services, manage data interchange, and ensure high performance and responsiveness for user-facing applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
• Create database schemas and maintain central data storage solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in PHP development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks and MVC design patterns.
• Proficiency with object-oriented PHP programming.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and declarative query languages.
• Understanding of user authentication and authorization across multiple systems.
• Knowledge of common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.
• Proficient use of code versioning tools such as Git.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Understanding of accessibility, security compliance, and fundamental design principles for scalable applications.
