Description

You will develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and web applications using PHP and MySQL.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress themes from PSD designs to meet specific client requirements.
• Build and maintain database schemas that support core business processes.
• Integrate multiple data sources and databases into unified systems.
• Manage user authentication and authorization across different servers and environments.
• Implement security measures to mitigate common PHP and web server exploits.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, specifically object-oriented programming and synchronous behavior.
• Expertise in MySQL and SQL database management.
• Experience with HTML and CSS for responsive web design.
• Proficiency with Git for code versioning.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases and declarative query languages.
• Ability to handle custom theme development and existing site maintenance.
• Understanding of PHP platform limitations and effective workarounds.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-system environment integration.
