Description

Develop and maintain secure, production-quality web applications using PHP, Laravel, and cloud-native AWS services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS cloud-native solutions using S3, SNS, SES, SQS, and Elastic Beanstalk.
• Write secure code using PHP, JavaScript, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Develop database schemas and associated data access code.
• Write automated unit, acceptance, and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Perform peer code reviews and deploy code via GitLab CI/CD pipelines to AWS ECR.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in open-source web application development.
• Proficiency with PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, ES6, and the React framework.
• Experience with Node.js and full-stack development.
• Hands-on work with Linux, Apache, and Docker.
• Ability to design and manage SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with AWS cloud solutions.
• Solid understanding of Git for source control.
• Knowledge of OWASP web security best practices, object-oriented design, and CS data structures/algorithms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Responsive Design.
