Description

You will develop and maintain research-focused web applications within an agile team.

Responsibilities

• Write secure, production-quality code using PHP, JavaScript, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Design and implement AWS cloud-native solutions using S3, SNS, SES, SQS, and Elastic Beanstalk.
• Develop database schemas and write efficient code to interact with them.
• Write automated unit, acceptance, and integration tests to maintain code quality.
• Perform peer code reviews and deploy updates via GitLab and AWS ECR CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in PHP and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, SNS, SES, and SQS.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience working in Linux, Docker, and Apache environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows using GitLab and AWS ECR.
• Ability to work within an agile development lifecycle.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
