Description

You will upgrade and maintain PHP applications on-site in West Palm Beach, FL.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade existing PHP applications from CodeIgniter 3 to CodeIgniter 4.
• Execute full software development lifecycle tasks including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Refactor code based on client feedback during code reviews and automated deployment tool flags.
• Collaborate closely with District IT team members in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of PHP experience, specifically including PHP version 8.x.
• 3+ years of PHP CodeIgniter experience, specifically version 4.x.
• 3+ years of UI/UX design experience.
• 2+ years of JavaScript experience.
• 2+ years of YAML experience.
• 2+ years of Twig experience.
• 2+ years of relational database experience.
• 2+ years of continuous integration experience using tools like Jenkins.
• Experience working within government environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an IT-related field.
