Description

You will design, build, test, and deploy web tier applications using OO and MVC patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications with a focus on performance.
• Analyze existing codebases to provide technical insights and improvements.
• Estimate project timelines based on interface wireframes and functional requirements.
• Research emerging technologies to advise on system priorities and business impact.
• Manage task assignments and communicate status or roadblocks to management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in OO and MVC software, web, and API development.
• Expertise in modern PHP frameworks, specifically Symfony or Laravel.
• 3+ years of front-end development experience with JavaScript, CSS/SCSS, and responsive design.
• 2+ years of experience with React and Redux.
• Experience with service-oriented design.
• Proficiency with Git SCM command line and tools.
• Strong focus on performance considerations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React Hooks.
• Knowledge of PHP unit testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, or Behat).
• Experience with JavaScript testing (Jest or react-testing-library) and TDD/BDD.
