Description

You will develop and maintain CAD tools, automation scripts, and utilities to support physical backend VLSI workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate and scale VLSI and semiconductor workflows using GitHub Actions and CI/CD practices.
• Develop and maintain Python-based automation frameworks and scripting solutions for EDA environments.
• Support verification and emulation environments by improving workflow reliability, scalability, and execution efficiency.
• Optimize cloud-based job execution to improve throughput, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot issues related to CAD tools, workflow automation, and infrastructure environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in CAD Engineering, DevOps, or Semiconductor Design Automation.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python scripting and automation development.
• Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD-based workflow automation.
• Familiarity with verification, emulation platforms, and backend semiconductor workflows.
• Knowledge of EDA tools and semiconductor/VLSI design environments.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure and distributed computational workflows.
• Strong understanding of automation, workflow optimization, and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with B.Tech or M.Tech (Dual) education background.
