Description

You will produce modeled deliverables for piping and equipment within the chemical, refining, or petrochemical industries.

Responsibilities

• Model piping and equipment using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Determine appropriate pipe support types and required locations.
• Interpret Piping Material Specifications and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Develop general equipment arrangements.
• Integrate laser scans with existing models.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of piping design experience in chemical, refining, or petrochemical sectors.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Proficiency in modeling piping and equipment.
• Experience with Model Review software, specifically Navisworks.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision to produce error-free models.
• Experience with laser scan and model combinations.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced Pipe Design and Pipe Support Design experience.
• Ability to plan work to align with project budgets and schedules.
