You will ensure DoD compliance and efficiency for Army Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) systems.
Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth assessments and audits of PKI infrastructure to identify compliance issues regarding Certificate Practice Statement (CPS) and Registration Practice Statement (RPS) requirements.
Manage and audit Army smart card and token systems, including identity verification, certificate issuance, key recovery, revocation, and suspensions.
Perform audits alongside Army Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) teams to ensure adherence to PKI standards and DoD directives.
Research and evaluate emerging PKI technologies to develop integration strategies and enhance software/hardware-based certificate capabilities.
Develop detailed analyses and actionable recommendations to improve existing PKI infrastructure.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in PKI-related roles.
Deep knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) principles and practices.
Working knowledge of Certificate Practice Statement (CPS) and Registration Practice Statement (RPS) compliance.
Experience managing and auditing Army smart card/token systems.
Ability to conduct audits in alignment with DoD directives and CCRI team standards.
Proven ability to evaluate and integrate new technologies within the PKI domain.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborative work with DoD auditors.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
