Description

You administer and manage cloud components for Platform Resource Administration (PRA), handling troubleshooting, monitoring, and incident management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Cloudera cloud components for PRA.
• Perform troubleshooting, monitoring, and incident management.
• Execute data engineering tasks using Spark and PySpark.
• Maintain operational knowledge of the Big Data ecosystem including Kafka, HDFS, Iceberg, Airflow, and YARN.
• Propose platform improvements and drive evolution.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Cloudera administration and platform management.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management capabilities.
• Proficiency in data engineering using Spark, PySpark, and Python.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies: Kafka, HDFS, Iceberg, Airflow, YARN.
• Ability to adhere to incident management processes and design standards.
• Proficiency in general administration tasks.
• Strong team collaboration and proactive problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python scripting for automation.
