Description

Manage and optimize the data platform ecosystem administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, and virtual networks.
• Administer Databricks workspaces, clusters, and notebooks alongside Snowflake accounts and warehouses.
• Maintain the Purview data catalog and metadata management.
• Optimize query performance in Databricks and Snowflake and tune system configurations.
• Implement security controls, encryption, access management, and backup/recovery procedures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in platform administration or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud platform and its services.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and Purview.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with scripting in PowerShell or Bash.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake concepts.
• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
