Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and maintain the three-tier blueprint hierarchy that standardizes how Devin operates across all Mercedes-Benz repositories.
- Architect integrations between Devin and enterprise systems including Git providers, SSO/SAML, MCP servers, CI/CD pipelines, and secret managers.
- Define and enforce coding standards, environment configurations, and security patterns that Devin sessions must follow across the organization.
- Establish best practices for playbook design, skill development, and knowledge note curation for enterprise-level implementation.
- Define which configurations belong at enterprise, org, and repo levels while managing configuration inheritance and override policies.
- Design initialize/maintenance scripts, snapshot strategies, and environment variable management patterns for consistent session startup.
- Evaluate new Devin features and architect their enterprise rollout across the organization's development teams.
- Serve as primary technical contact with Cognition AI engineering for architecture discussions, feature requests, and integration support.
- Onboard/offboard users, manage organization structures, configure team memberships, and maintain accurate user directories across all Devin organizations.
- Set up and maintain repo-level configurations including environment configs, Git provider connections, and branch protection alignment.
- Manage role-based access controls, enforce least-privilege principles, and ensure proper separation between different organizational roles.
- Administer the three-tier secrets hierarchy and coordinate secret rotation schedules to ensure no secrets are hardcoded.
- Monitor and allocate Autonomous Compute Unit budgets across organizations and teams while tracking consumption patterns.
- Maintain Git provider integrations, SSO/SAML configurations, and authentication flows for seamless user experience.
- Manage environment configurations, trigger and monitor snapshot builds, pin stable snapshots, and troubleshoot build failures.
- Serve as L2 support for user-facing configuration, access, and setup issues escalated from self-service channels.
- Implement security policies as platform configurations in coordination with Security and Compliance teams.
Experience Required 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a platform/infrastructure architect role. Strong experience with enterprise Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps toolchains required
