Description

Lead platform engineering initiatives by designing scalable, secure infrastructure and guiding a team of engineers.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve platform architecture to align with business objectives and industry best practices.
• Design and implement resilient infrastructure solutions covering compute, storage, and networking.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Lead a team of engineers to develop, test, and deploy platform components.
• Collaborate with security teams to establish and maintain strong security standards and controls.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in GitHub Actions, including creating complex workflows and custom actions.
• Extensive hands-on experience writing, managing, and deploying Terraform.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Typescript.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Strong knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing security frameworks, compliance controls, and governance in cloud environments.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog and CloudWatch.
