Description

You will own the architecture and development of platform services focused on embedded infrastructure for aircraft systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop architecture definitions for platform services covering bootup, commissioning, storage, and thermal management.
• Drive embedded software architecture across system software, virtualization, trusted OS, compute, and device drivers.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure hardware designs meet software requirements and vice versa.
• Provide technical leadership to resolve issues and improve development processes within global teams.
• Architect solutions using Linux, Android, and microcontroller RTOSs for embedded hardware.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in platform architecture or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of OS concepts, specifically Linux/Android integration with embedded hardware, device drivers, and kernel modules.
• Experience designing software for embedded systems, including hardware abstraction, device drivers, microcontrollers, and sensors.
• Experience with storage systems: disk partitioning, RAID, distributed file systems, and file/block/object storage architecture.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 (VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, LLDP, IGMP, QNq).
• Experience with virtualization technologies: containers, hypervisors, and device virtualization in Linux/Android.
• Experience with hardware bring-up, provisioning, and commissioning processes.
• Experience designing OTA architectures for edge computing and cloud integration.
• Ability to lead and work in Agile (SAFe and Scrum) global team settings.

Preferred Skills

• Education: Any Graduate degree.
• Experience with 3-year tenure stability in similar roles.
