Description

You will manage, optimize, and secure the Snowflake environment and its integration with cloud infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure Snowflake account objects including warehouses, databases, schemas, roles, and users.
• Manage access control using Snowflake's role-based access control (RBAC) model.
• Optimize warehouse sizing, scaling policies, and auto-suspend/resume settings to balance performance and cost.
• Implement data sharing, data masking, and row-level security features.
• Document configuration standards, security protocols, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in Snowflake configuration, administration, or DevOps.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Snowflake-specific syntax.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Git for CI/CD pipeline support.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of data governance practices and Snowflake security features.
• Understanding of cloud data warehousing concepts.
