Description

You will design and maintain cloud-native environments and CI/CD pipelines on Google Cloud Platform. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native environments and perform software upgrades.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated builds and deployments.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline operational processes and service requests.
• Manage production environments, third-party installations, and ensure system stability.
• Triage complex issues in distributed microservices and participate in on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in software engineering, systems administration, database administration, or networking.
• 2+ years developing or administering software in a public cloud environment.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Chef, or Ansible for Linux/Windows automation.
• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD tooling, practices, and pipeline development.
• Ability to monitor infrastructure and application uptime, availability, and performance.
• BS degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP services: GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL.
• Cloud Certification.
