Description

You will design, build, and optimize enterprise search platforms using Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Apache Lucene to deliver scalable search capabilities.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain indexing strategies, search relevance models, semantic search, hybrid search, and vector search solutions.
• Implement distributed systems and cloud-native architectures using Kubernetes, Kafka, and modern infrastructure technologies.
• Build automation, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable deployment and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with application and data teams to integrate search capabilities into enterprise services.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and drive continuous improvements in scalability and reliability.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Search Engineering, DevOps, or Distributed Systems.
• Strong expertise in Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Apache Lucene.
• Experience with search relevance tuning, indexing strategies, and vector search implementations.
• Proficiency in Python for platform development.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Kafka.
• Proven track record with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native platform engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or Data Engineering.
