Description

You will design, develop, and maintain core system modules in a Linux/Unix environment, owning components from conception to release.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and support assigned system areas throughout the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer escalations, bugs, and development issues.
• Collaborate with QA and documentation teams to ensure delivery quality.
• Own specific modules or features from inception to release.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in C on Linux/Unix systems.
• Proficiency in bash or Python scripting.
• Solid understanding of OS basics, network stack, and routing/switching concepts.
• Experience programming BSD sockets and multi-threading.
• Knowledge of file systems and independent troubleshooting of complex technical issues.
• Degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics.

Preferred Skills

• Working understanding of packet processing accelerators like DPDK or VPP.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA), performance measurement, and protocol implementation.
