Description

You will manage platform uptime, performance, stability, and scalability for client-facing and internal systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and mentor system architecture and design patterns.
• Develop and maintain public APIs and extensible feature solutions.
• Build tools for analytics, monitoring, machine learning, and data warehousing.
• Provision, configure, and monitor onsite and cloud-based server resources.
• Automate solutions to increase service reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software or systems development.
• Proficiency in at least one: PHP, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Elixir, or Go.
• Experience with big data technologies including Kafka, Hadoop, and Spark.
• Strong background in Linux administration and computer networking.
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Digital Ocean, or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with automation/configuration tools like Puppet or Ansible.
• Experience with orchestration software such as Docker Swarm or Kubernetes.
