Description

You will design and develop Python-based backend services for the Security Hub, focusing on scalable APIs, microservices, and event-driven data pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python backend services using FastAPI, Flask, or Django to support security finding management, alert processing, and compliance evidence collection.
• Develop telemetry ingestion and normalization services, implementing event-processing pipelines with Kafka for data correlation and enrichment.
• Create RESTful APIs and integration services for systems including Keycloak, Ranger, OpenShift, ServiceNow, and Vault/Venafi.
• Enable workflow automation and remediation orchestration, integrating AI-enabled capabilities for triage, root-cause analysis, and risk prioritization.
• Support CI/CD pipeline implementation, OpenShift containerization, and production release activities while ensuring secure coding and OWASP compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Python backend development experience.
• Experience building enterprise-grade APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience working in cloud-native and containerized environments, specifically OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, authentication, and authorization concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating ServiceNow and IAM platforms.
• Background in Security Operations, SIEM, SOAR, or Security Hub platforms.
• Experience supporting AI/ML-enabled applications in regulated environments.
