Description

You will optimize and maintain a Wind River cloud environment by managing virtualization, Kubernetes, and automation frameworks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage virtualized environments using VMware ESXi, vSphere, OpenStack, and Wind River.
• Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and management using Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• Troubleshoot physical, first-layer virtualization, and Kubernetes cluster issues.
• Design scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure and support zero-touch provisioning (ZTP).
• Implement automated incident response, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of experience with VMware.
• Strong proficiency with Linux systems.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters.
• 2+ years of experience with automation tools including Terraform, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with OpenStack and vSphere.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VMware Cloud (VMC) on AWS and hybrid cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) and virtualized network functions (VNF).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, FluentBit, or the ELK Stack.
