Description

You will drive the transition from manual operations to 99% automation within an AWS environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and engineer test automation solutions to enable daily automated quality and security checks.
• Debug, reverse engineer, and re-architect existing Jenkins build jobs.
• Integrate security automation into deployment pipelines using Blackduck, Coverity, Sonarqube, and Aqua Security.
• Develop custom scripts and plugins to optimize security tooling workflows and automate compliance inspections.
• Analyze current infrastructure to design future-state solutions and present implementation plans to leadership.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software continuous deployment settings.
• 10+ years of experience engineering and architecting test automation.
• Expertise in 3+ programming languages, specifically Python and Groovy, plus Java, JavaScript, or C.
• Proficiency with Jenkins and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform for orchestration.
• Ability to work within AWS environments.
• Strong capability in analyzing technical gaps and gaining leadership buy-in for new architectural solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience establishing consistent branching strategies in complex environments.
