Description

You will own the design and implementation of core software architecture, moving from prototype through to operational applications.

Responsibilities

• Enhance, optimize, or increase the robustness of existing code bases.
• Design and implement core architecture and capabilities for software applications.
• Define, build, and manage virtual infrastructure in the cloud using infrastructure as code.
• Troubleshoot and identify complex system issues across applications, hosts, and networks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or Software Development using Python or Go.
• Proficiency in developing and deploying infrastructure within AWS.
• Experience with Kubernetes or a vendor flavor of Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, hosts, networks, and security.
• Proficiency in shell scripting (Shell/Bash).
• Current U.S. Government Secret Security clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with Python, Go, AWS, Linux, Bash, Kubernetes, and Security.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or relevant experience compensating for lower education).
