Platform Engineer

You will manage metadata infrastructure to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the ASG Data Intelligence metadata management tool, including installations and upgrades of the platform and new scanners.
• Configure and customize ASG Data Intelligence and administer global search and index services.
• Develop and enforce metadata standards, policies, and procedures while administering business glossaries and contexts.
• Conduct metadata quality assessments, implement remediation strategies, and debug production issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate metadata management needs into actionable requirements.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in metadata management, data catalog administration, data governance, data lineage, data privacy, and data quality.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, data flows, and database design.
• Proficiency in metadata concepts, standards, and best practices.
• Experience with data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to provide training and support to end-users on metadata management and data governance policies.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in administering and configuring ASG Data Intelligence (Rochade, Becubic, etc).
• 2+ years of experience in API development.
• Experience in the financial services or banking industry.
• Relevant certifications in metadata management or ASG Data Intelligence.
