Description

You will design, implement, and maintain the O-RAN Radio OS, ensuring security compliance and hardening across all radio platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the O-RAN Radio OS, applying security hardening guidelines to all radio platforms.
• Architect and integrate cybersecurity features into new and existing O-RAN Radio product codebases.
• Implement security protocols for O-RAN fronthaul interfaces in alignment with O-RAN WG11 requirements.
• Ensure compliance with 3GPP TS 33.501 for 5G system architecture security and O-RAN security specifications.
• Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and source code auditing to validate security posture.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in FW/SW architecture, design, and implementation for wireless applications or radio products.
• Proficiency in embedded software development using C for system software, including bootloaders, drivers, and kernel.
• Strong experience with C++ and object-oriented design.
• Deep expertise in Linux kernel software, Embedded Linux, and RTOS.
• Experience with U-Boot/kernel development, customization, and Linux Device Tree.
• Knowledge of file system operations and embedded system security principles.
• Hands-on experience with security protocols including IEEE 802.1X, MACSec, PKI, and cryptographic techniques.
• Familiarity with O-RAN WG11 security specifications and 3GPP security standards.
• Ability to conduct risk analysis using ISO 27005 frameworks and O-RAN threat modeling.
