Description

Required:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience working with Akamai or similar CDN and edge-security technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience using the Akamai platform.
• Experience with CDN configuration, content delivery, caching, and traffic optimization.
• Strong knowledge of web security and edge-protection technologies.
• College-level degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• Akamai-specific certifications or equivalent platform training.

Preferred:

• Experience supporting airline or aviation-industry applications.
• Experience onboarding enterprise-scale, customer-facing applications to Akamai.
• Knowledge of web application firewalls, DNS, TLS/SSL, bot management, API security, and DDoS protection.

Responsibilities:

• Define, manage, and execute application onboarding to the Akamai platform.
• Configure and support Akamai CDN, caching, routing, and traffic-optimization services.
• Implement and maintain web security and edge-protection solutions.
• Work with application, infrastructure, networking, and security teams to gather requirements and coordinate deployments.
• Troubleshoot Akamai configuration, performance, availability, and security issues.
• Monitor platform performance and recommend improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow established change-management procedures
