Description

You will build and manage scalable infrastructure and developer platforms to support distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain highly scalable Kubernetes implementations and manage the surrounding ecosystem.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, including automated testing and security scanning.
• Configure and manage HashiCorp Vault, including engines, authentication, and HA/DR strategies.
• Architect resilient cloud networking and security controls across VPCs, firewalls, and WAFs.
• Optimize database infrastructure, focusing on scaling, performance, and data recovery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in platform or infrastructure engineering.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes internals, including networking, pod lifecycle, and statefulsets.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes controllers, operators, ArgoCD, and Istio.
• Proficiency in at least one language: Go (preferred), Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Strong cloud experience, ideally with GCP, including VPC Service Controls and Private Service Connect.
• Experience managing HashiCorp Vault and understanding encryption in transit (TLS/mTLS) and at rest.
• Practical knowledge of database management, consistency models, and scaling (e.g., Postgres, MySQL, or Cassandra).
• Experience with observability tools, specifically Grafana and OpenTelemetry.
• Ability to write custom GitHub Actions using YAML or JavaScript.
