Description

You will own platform reliability and engineer enablement features.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support platform operations by maintaining and administering systems including GitHub, incident.io, JFrog, and Kubernetes.
• Manage DataDog dashboards, alerts, and logging patterns to enhance service visibility.
• Enforce best practices for secure and compliant service hosting within Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with product engineers to improve the developer experience for running services on the platform.
• Participate in incident management and drive platform reliability through automation and process improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with strong software engineering fundamentals in Python, Go, or JavaScript.
• Basic understanding of Linux systems and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and containerization; familiarity with Docker is beneficial.
• Knowledge of software engineering principles and understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic awareness of observability tooling (monitoring, logging, tracing).
• Good English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with DataDog.
• Experience improving incident management processes.
