Description

You will manage a highly scalable CDN platform and ensure seamless request flow through VCL configurations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Fastly CDN platform and VCL configurations.
• Troubleshoot networking and CDN activities independently.
• Translate product requirements into technical implementations while weighing business tradeoffs.
• Participate in technical discussions with product stakeholders.
• Write and deliver code within a cross-functional agile team.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise in Fastly and Varnish Configuration Language (VCL).
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Unix environments.
• 3+ years of experience using Terraform for automation.
• Strong experience with Node.js or Python.
• Deep understanding of networking for CDN troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps version control.
• Experience working within Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
