Description

You will own the design, deployment, and operation of production-grade data catalog platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain a production-grade catalog platform with SSO and RBAC.
• Automate metadata ingestion from Snowflake, Databricks, and SQL Server.
• Implement end-to-end lineage across data pipelines and BI reporting tools.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for connectors, policies, and configuration as code.
• Monitor adoption metrics including active users and asset coverage.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in data/platform engineering or solution architecture.
• 3+ years implementing data catalog/metadata platforms (e.g., Atlan, Alation).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for scripting and automation.
• Experience with data warehouses/lakes such as Snowflake and Databricks.
• Familiarity with data pipelines like ADF and SSIS.
• Experience configuring CI/CD using GitHub or similar tools.
• Knowledge of governance concepts: business glossary, stewardship, and policy workflows.
• Experience with BI tools including Power BI and Tableau.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
