Description

You will own the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of OpenShift clusters through custom pipelines, leading infrastructure automation in private virtualized environments.

8+ years of professional experience in technical engineering, infrastructure design, or complex application development.

Responsibilities

• Automate OpenShift cluster deployment and maintenance using custom pipelines.
• Lead infrastructure automation and continuous deployment efforts.
• Implement system upgrades and enhancements to maintain functionality and performance.
• Document new services and infrastructure following established best practices.
• Mentor engineers, technicians, and integrators on technical solutions and designs.

Required Skills

• Expert knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, Podman, and Docker.
• In-depth experience with GitOps using ArgoCD to maintain Kubernetes clusters at scale.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure services, specifically Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO).
• Strong Linux system configuration and administration skills.
• Proficiency in writing sustainable scripts using Python, Perl, or Bash.
• Experience with automation using Ansible playbooks or Terraform HCL.
• Solid understanding of the infrastructure lifecycle, architecture, and IT Service Management.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Managing Information Systems, or a related field.
